Although we have only stayed at the Bey Tree Hotel three times, my wife, our friend and myself, have always found Alistair to be incredibly kind and very generous, not only with his time and enthusiasm, but also when he would pour us drinks.
he would often regale us with his stories of amazing achievements.
We also had a common interest in the Archers, which we would regularly discuss, at great lengths. Alistair will always be remembered as a true gentle gentleman, with calm assurance and a softly-spoken gentle voice.
